Terms and conditions

These terms set out how Made for Cards handles orders, custom designs, ready-made stock, and made-to-order card game products. They are written in plain English so the important bits are easy to check before ordering.

Orders and payment

Orders placed through the shop will show the products, selected options, delivery charge, and total before payment is confirmed. Payment is taken at checkout. An order is accepted once payment is successful and we have confirmed that the product can be produced or supplied.

Production and dispatch

Made-to-order products usually enter production after purchase. Production is normally completed within 1 to 3 business days, although busy periods, material availability, or design issues may affect this. Orders are usually posted 1 to 2 days after production is complete.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests are handled on a best-efforts basis. If production has not started, we will usually be able to cancel and refund the order. Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible because materials and machine time have already been committed.

Changes after purchase

Please check custom designs carefully before ordering. Changes after purchase are not usually permitted, but we will try to help if production has not started and the change is practical. Changes may affect production time or price.

Custom designs and customer artwork

Customers are responsible for making sure uploaded, selected, referenced, or AI-generated artwork is suitable for the product they order and that they have the rights or permission needed to use it. This includes any copyright, trade mark, character, logo, licensing, or image rights that may apply.

Our customisation tools may help create, adapt, simplify, or colour artwork, but they do not confirm that a design is free to use commercially. We may reject designs that cannot be produced cleanly or that create legal, safety, or fulfilment concerns.

By placing an order, you agree that we may make reasonable adjustments to submitted, selected, referenced, or AI-generated designs, artwork, images, colours, layouts, or other visual elements where needed to make them suitable for 3D printing and production. These adjustments may include simplifying details, altering line thicknesses, adapting colours to available printing materials, resizing or repositioning artwork, or making other technical changes required for a successful print. Where we make such changes, our intention will be to preserve the overall appearance, character, and intent of the design as closely as reasonably possible while ensuring it can be manufactured reliably.

Design privacy

We may use finished product photos or design previews as examples of Made for Cards work, but we avoid sharing designs that clearly include personal details, private images, or recognisable people unless you have agreed. Tell us if you do not want your design used in examples. We do not sell or share order details except where needed to fulfil an order, process payment, deliver a parcel, provide support, or meet legal requirements.

Returns and refunds

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos so we can put it right. Because custom products are made to the customer's chosen design, returns based only on not liking the final design are not normally accepted. We may still offer goodwill help where it is fair and practical. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Product previews, colours, and finish

Product images and design previews are intended to show the design, layout, and finish as clearly as possible. Screen colours, printed colours, layer lines, small surface marks, and material texture can vary slightly between previews and finished physical products.

3D files and print files

Made for Cards sells finished physical products unless a product page clearly says otherwise. 3MF, STL, CAD, model, slicer, and other print-production files are not included with an order and are not available to purchase separately.

Safety and intended use

Products are supplied for normal trading-card storage, display, and hobby use unless clearly stated otherwise. They are not certified for food contact, heat resistance, load-bearing use, child safety, or any specialist compliance standard unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Intellectual property

Designs, product models, customisation templates, production files, and original product concepts created by Made for Cards remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing. Buying a physical item does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, resell, or distribute the underlying 3D files or production designs. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of third-party artwork, brands, characters, or other rights that may appear in customer-provided or AI-generated designs.

Updates

These terms may be updated as the shop, customisation, fulfilment, and checkout features develop. The terms shown at the time of purchase apply to that order.
